Great location and terrific host!

Positive: Good location, good host, good value Negative: Pretty dingy, back stairs dirty, small couch, loud neighbors, very loud creak in floors so anyone walking at night wakes up everyone else.

Great property to stay at with a dog.

Quiet, clean, great location. Positive: Super clean and perfect for what we needed. Quiet location. Older building, so it has its quirks, but we really liked it.

Cheap hostel feel with lots of stairs, an outdated bathroom and lots of amenities that don’t look up to code. Positive: The location Negative: I should have canceled right away. I noticed a $25 pet fee added to my stay. I asked for it to be removed. The owner said Booking.com needed to fix it. Booking.com said that they couldn’t change my total before my stay. Um, why not? So, they said they would refund after the stay. I agreed for some reason. Now, weeks later, Booking agrees it was an error and said they would issue refund. However, they instead gave me a credit to use at Booking. They did not refund as stated. The apartment itself was a disappointment. It’s on the 3rd floor and the stairs are outside. The stairs are small and steep. Also very dirty. The air conditioning is in portable units in the bedrooms. They have rigged a plastic pipe to feed through an added wood slat in window. Both units had mold. The lights flickered when it kicked on… I looked up at light and noticed the smoke detector was missing from its casing. The house smells of old cigarette smoke. My daughter had ants in her room. The dressers in both rooms had broken drawers. House was hot and humid away from the a/c units. Bathroom is small. Shower is inside a very tall tub , hard to get in and out. Old dirty shower curtains. You can’t actually shower, you have to sit in tub for shower attachment to reach. The kitchen faucet broke off in my hands and door handle looked ready to come off. Felt like a very cheap youth hostel. Many people would have trouble with the stairs and the tub accessibility.
