Appartement confortable avec belle vue-9

This is an older building in an excellent location. 5 minutes from downtown. It was close to the street so you might hear some traffic noise, but with the air conditioning (white noise), it didn’t bother me. There were two floor units, one in the bedroom and one in the living room that kick out sufficiently.I was on the third floor and there is no elevator. Narrow stairs. This wasn’t a problem for me but just a heads up for someone with physical disabilities.The kitchen had all the supplies needed, though I chose to eat out. Restaurants, bars, coffee shops, diners, are in all close proximity.The bathroom toilet area might be a little cramped for a large person, I’m 6’1”, 205 and it was fine, so that gives you an idea of my definition here for “large.” The space reminded me of some European bathrooms I experienced, but the shower & sink area are full scale. The building is 1905, so what you sacrifice in comfort, you make up in character.Check-in was smooth. The other residents were quiet. All-in-all, a wonderful experience!

The apartment was great. I would definitely stay there again if I needed a place in Des Moines.

Quaint, clean apartment in a walkable location. Would recommend to others. Note you do hear traffic so if that keeps you awake, bring earplugs or white noise app.

We enjoyed our stay. Positive: The location was great and easy to access. The apartment was very clean upon arrival. Negative: The noise from the air conditioners.

Steve was a great communicator from booking months ago to check out. The space was exceptionally clean and organized. The two portable air conditioners kept up surprisingly well the first day with 90 degree temp. A detailed house guide was provided with very helpful suggestions for bars, breweries, and restaurants. The bed was comfortable and the full kitchen was spotless. Very pleased with the host.
